Friends,
Saturday October 10th was the last DRM gig for an unknown quantity of time. Our front man, the shoe-shufflin’, hip-swinging superstar Dandy, is leaving Down Under for the sunny shores of the land of the free(k).
Seems the GFC has got a few cats dreggin’ in the good ol’ U.S. of A. and we’re exporting his talents for a little while. In the meantime get yer groove on with this limited-time-only MP3 download of ‘Shake it’ a song never before released to the public featuring our friend Seamus von Muchenflayva on drums. Cheers.”
Get 'Shake It' here.

Did you guys fall into that black hole too? You know the one, kinda like that TV Show Flash Forward where nothing happened for 6 months...?
Well it happened to us. Damn. But now we're back. The website is looking prettier and we'll try our bestest to keep it updated.

Big changes afoot!
We have released our new album which is in stores now (Red Eye Records in Sydney to be more specific), we have some shows lined up in Sydney and Melbourne and this website will undergo slight changes to bring it into the 21st Century. Although that part will happen when our web guy James gets round to it. Turns out he's quite lazy.

Okay okay, so we've been slack from updating our news page. But we've been busy recording, sweating our asses off trying to survive the heatwave and doing all-round cool shit.
We're playing at the Playground Weekender Festival tomorrow but tonight we're seeing the awesome PRIMAL SCREAM! If you're in the neighbourhood drop in.
We're also playing a special show at Spectrum on Oxford Street next Saturday 14th, Valentines' Day. Expect us to be amorous.
19th December 2008
Thanks to everyone who came out to the inaugural Dirty Water Club gig, the room was abuzz was it not. All the bands, DJs and Count Doyle, who did all the work behind the scenes, also deserve much kudos.
To the future! If you're into the camping thing you might catch us at Peats Ridge on Tuesday 30 December, or Playground Weekender on Sunday 8 February.
And hurtling along the tracks [insert witticism here] is our official A Sound for Two launch at the Annandale Hotel, Saturday 17 January. Hitting the stage will be mountain blues-psych outfit Sister Jane, Melbourne's soon-to-be-all-conquering Fearless Vampire Killers, and that outlaw entity known as Pyscho Nanny and the Baby Shakers. This is shaping to be a fine night of fugitive rawk n roll.... could there be a better place to escape to from the burning sun and the insane festival crowds? Look forward to seeing you there.
